Midweek Progress: Farm Upgrades, Greenhouse Pest Control & Cleanup

On Wednesday, May 21st, we tackled a variety of tasks across the Earthship—from the final living room entrance cleanup to hands-on work around the farm and greenhouse.We wrapped up the last bits of cleaning from the entrance build, then jumped into farm projects. We finished cutting and fitting holes and pipes for the rabbit totes, laid additional fencing for the rabbit area, and cleaned up the property—burning brush and waste around the farm perimeter.We also sanitized and refilled the goat water tote, keeping our animals hydrated and healthy.Inside the greenhouse, we focused on pest management, using a Dawn soap spray treatment to help control spider mites on our plants.It was a productive day of maintenance, expansion, and care!
